Where we are as of Aug 2026

The Brady’s Run Trail Association (BRTA) started as an unofficial group of people who cared about the trails at Brady’s Run Park and wanted to see them maintained and improved. What began as volunteers taking an interest in the condition of the trails has grown into an effort to create a formal organization dedicated to the long-term stewardship of the park’s trail system. We are currently working with Beaver County to establish BRTA as an official steward of the trails at Brady’s Run Park. Before we can begin performing trail work in an official capacity, however, BRTA needs to be formally established as a nonprofit organization and have the appropriate legal documentation in place. We are currently in the process of finding and speaking with a lawyer who can help us establish the nonprofit, prepare our governing documents, and make sure the organization is properly structured. Once that process is complete, the County plans to move forward with a formal partnership with BRTA. This partnership would allow us to take a more active role in the trail system—not only maintaining existing trails and signage, but also working with the County to improve and develop the trails and related amenities throughout the park. Our goal is to create a sustainable organization that can provide consistent volunteer stewardship of Brady’s Run trails for years to come. Formalizing BRTA is the first step toward making that possible.
